THE AESTHETIC
OF CRUSHING

This project is an alternative to traditional building materials, reducing the use of virgin clay. Our projects involve the transformation of ceramic waste into usable building materials that are designed to last and look beautiful.  With focus on the exploring of aesthetic in the crushed ceramic waste, to find new innovative solutions.

The project is made together with architect Jacob-Sebastian Bang and Nina Husted Ericsen. It was selected for the exhibition PLANETARY BOUNDARIES - Rethinking Architecture and Design.

PLANETARY BOUNDARIES
- RETHINKING ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN

The exhibition features 25 selected projects which – from an academic architectural or design perspective – have potential for innovative design, building materials and types of dwellings with wide-ranging aesthetics and a small planetary footprint.

The projects are experiments, specific proposals and ambitious explorations of transition, challenging our conventional view of architecture and design.
