THE DIALOGUE
PRIZE 2023

Selected through an OPENCALL commission, I had the privilege of creating a statuette for Denmark's Political Festival, FOLKEMØDET. At the core of this project is the theme of dialogue, and I sought to produce a work that captures the essence and importance of this vital concept.

Employing solely recycled and reused materials in glass, wood, and ceramics, I meticulously crafted a piece that personifies the spirit of conversation and collaboration.

MATERIALS TO START DIALOGUE

The materials for the statuette are consciously chosen and crafted as part of starting a dialogue.

The statuette are made from a combination of kiln casted recycled glass and crushed ceramic porcelain waste. The roughness of the recycled wood, with old paint as a trace of its previous story, adds some character and contrast to the final piece.
